Matching dots mark the final position (see lower drawing).
The double function is especially beneficial for pressurized enclosures. After the first 90° opening turn, the pressure can escape because the door is still latched.

1. close the door 2. first 90° rotation: the cam latches behind the frame into the locked position. The door cannot be opened. 3. a further 90° rotation will pull the already latched cam towards the frame: the seal is compressed, the door is latched and free of play.
